Bangladesh is considering the possibility of acquiring 10 Yak-130s operational trainers, ARMS-TASS reports. It has been declared by the president of Irkut Corporation, Alexey Fedorov.
According to him, the negotiations on deliveries are currently at the initial stage. "Bangladesh has a large budget and the attraction of state credit is also being considered", - Fedorov noted.
According to the Fedorov’s estimate, the market capacity for aircraft of this type until 2020 may reach 2500 vehicles. "We intend to have 25-30% share of this market", - Fedorov stated.
Yak-130 is the two-seat jet operational trainer, intended for training of flight personnel and tactical employment in normal and adverse weather conditions for hitting ground and air targets. Yak-130 enables training of pilots at the most advanced level for Russian and foreign 4+ and 5-generation combat aircraft, because it has almost the same aircraft and maneuvering performance as the advanced fighters on subsonic speeds. In addition, it is able to perform landing on unpaved airfields.
