Vladivostok airport was certified for servicing Аn-148 and Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft

Vladivostok International Airport has been certified for servicing An-148 and Sukhoi SuperJet 100 (RRJ-95B) aircraft and their modifications. The corresponding instruction was signed by Far East Interregional Territorial Department of Air Transport, the airport’s press-service reports. AEX.ru

«Аn-148 and Sukhoi SuperJet 100 (RRJ-95B) are the next-generation small regional jets. These aircraft are purchased by the key airlines developing their regional network», - the airport explained.

Angara airlines and Yakutia Airlines have already announced their intentions to operate these jets on routes from Vladivostok. The first flights of Angara Airlines on route from Vladivostok to Irkutsk are scheduled for spring 2013.

«The certification of the airport for servicing the new aircraft will help develop the regional air transportation and increase frequency on socially important routes», - CEO of the airport, Maxim Chetverikov, said. «In addition, work on certification for servicing new aircraft types is one of the top-priority areas of the airport’s program in the area of improving the service quality: we try to respond quickly to the requests of our partners and provide capabilities for high-quality aircraft handling», - he added.
 
We remind you that Vladivostok International Airport was also certified for servicing Boeing 747-300, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 777-300, Boeing 777-300 ER, Boeing 737-900 and Il-96-300 in 2011-2012.
