The new jet has two-class cabin configuration (business and economy class) with 136 seats.

«The long-term development strategy of UIA assumes the regular renewal and expansion of its fleet, – said the corporate press-secretary of UIA, Evgeniya Satskaya. – With the transition of the airline to the new strategic model of network carrier, the program of fleet expansion and renewal becomes even more important. The updated route network and schedule, which provide the two-way connection of almost all of our flights between West and East at Borispol airport (Kiev), require the fleet to be expanded. It is symbolic that the 20th Boeing aircraft has joined our fleet in the 20th year of our work. We are confident that it is a significant event, which will be the first of many UIA’s achievements in this anniversary year».

UIA is the only Ukrainian airline, which performs all the types of maintenance and overhaul of Boeing aircraft. The vast technical basis allows performing of maintenance and overhaul of UIA’s aircraft and providing such services to other carriers.
