Belarus has acquired Russian surface-to-air missile systems Tor M2E

According to Lenta.ru. "Ministry of Defense of Belarus has acquired Russian surface-to-air missile systems Tor M2E, the delivery of these missile systems will start this year,"- said Minister of Defence of Belarus lieutenant general Yuri Zhadobin.

According to his story, Belarus will acquire the division of such missile systems in the next three years. The amount of transaction was not specified.

According to the estimates of Ministry of Defense, the armed forces of Belarus pass into service from 15 to 17 samples of new weapon technology yearly. "Generally these are domestic products ", - Zhadobin noted. He also added that Belarus is finishing the development of its first unmanned aerial vehicle at the moment. Testing of the Belorussian unmanned aerial vehicle will start at the end of 2011.
