According to the press service of the Sverdlovsk Region government, creation of development and arrangement plan for the special economic zone (SEZ) "Titan Valley" will be started in March 2011, after that the matter of distribution of budget investments will be clenched.

"Titanium valley" is aimed on realization of several groups of projects. The first area is the development of raw material resources base for titan manufacture. It is also planned to set up the manufacture of titan half-finished products for the needs of aviation, medicine and for attach hardware. In addition the manufacture of titan and combined equipment for chemical machine industry, nuclear power engineering, aircraft and railway industry, non-ferrous metallurgy will be started in the SEZ.

The Sverdlovsk Region government will have finished execution of documents on land plot by the end of April 2011. In addition they are elaborating the development concept for the SEZ at the moment. The government plans to start creation of development and arrangement plan for the special economic zone in March. After considering the results of this work the scope of investments, needed for infrastructure development, will be defined. After that the government of the Russian Federation will clench the matter of distribution of budget investments.

The construction site will be provided with heating, gas, process and drinking water and electricity. Variants of infrastructure development are being elaborated at the moment.

Electric substation "Kataba" having a capacity of 500 kW may serve as one of the sources of electric supply. Modern combined-cycle plant may be used as an alternative source. Energy companies have already made several offers regarding the deployment of such object in the SEZ.
