Rosnano and EADS have signed memorandum of understanding

Today Rosnano and European Aeronautics Defence and Space Company (EADS) have signed the memorandum of understanding at «Rusnanotech – 2011» International Forum. AEX.ru

The memorandum has been signed by Chairman of the Management Board of Rosnano, Anatoly Chubais and Jean Botti, CTO of EADS. According to the memorandum, Rosnano and EADS will cooperate in the area of development and implementation of new technologies. «EADS is one of the leading companies in the area of high technologies of aerospace industry. We have already formed the list of top-priority companies and areas. We plan to cooperate with EADS in the areas like creation of new materials, в таких областях, как создание новых материалов, energy-savings and safety», - said Anatoly Chubais during the signing ceremony.

According to Chubais, EADS has an enormous technological potential since it is a large aerospace concern. «I have very positive expectations on our cooperation. This agreement is very important for us. I believe that we will demonstrate the first results of our cooperation in 2012», - said Chubais.
