«Transport week – 2011» is taking place November 21-26 in the EcoCentre «Sokolniki» in Moscow, organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. Business Dialogue acts as an operator, and the official information operator is the official publication of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation - newspaper «Transport of Russia» (publishing house «Dorogi»).
The events of «Transport week» will be traditionally attended by representatives of the Government of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Federal Agencies, legislative and executive authorities at federal and regional levels; largest Russian and foreign transport, logistics and insurance companies; banks; industry associations and also leading business and industry mass media.
V Anniversary International forum «Transport of Russia» will be held on 23-25th of November during «Transport week - 2011», the program includes plenary session, panel discussion and conferences on pressing topics related to the functioning and development of Russian transport complex and its further integration into the world’s transport system. Special attention will be paid to issues such as transport safety and ecology, and also to creation of the transport infrastructure objects as part of the preparation for the events of international importance – Summit APEC – 2012 in Vladivostok, the World summer Universiade - 2013 in Kazan, the Olympic winter games - 2014 in Sochi, the World football championship – 2018 and other.
V Anniversary International exhibition «Transport of Russia» will be held during «Transport week – 2011», and will focus on presenting last year’s results of the transport industry in order to outline perspective directions for its further development. The exhibition aims to present innovative and infrastructure projects in transport sphere, attract financing into transport projects, establish and develop regional and inter-sector partnering network, facilitate further integration of Russian transport into the international transport system.
The exposition is divided into industrial sectors: railway transport, marine and river transport, air transport and civil aviation, automobile transport and roads. The following sectors will be presented for the first time: regional infrastructure projects, transport safety, eco transport.
Also during the «Transport week - 2011» there will be held II International congress ROAD TRAFFIС RUSSIA – 2011 «Traffic Management in the Russian Federation»; International Road Congress «Innovations in road infrastructure»; All-Russia Festival of Arts for Transport Universities students «TranspART-2010»; III Russian Sports Festival for Transport Universities Students; Open Cup of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation on game sports.
Distinctive feature of «Transport week - 2011» is that all its events will take place in EcoCentre "Sokolniki", this should ensure favorable conditions for effective dialogue of all interested parties. |
