A350 is the latest long-range wide-body family of aircrafts of the average size. A350 family aircrafts differ in high efficiency and the level of passenger comfort.

A350 aircraft is equipped with the engines of the new generation Rolls-Royce Trent XWB. This is the most effective (economic) engine today, plus - reduces CO2 emissions by 25%. Also, A350 is the quietest twin-engine wide-body aircraft in the world. The level of external noise is 21 dB lower than requirements of ICAO (Chapter 4). Over 70% of A350 structure is made from high-tech materials, including composite materials (53%), and also titanium and aluminum alloys are new generation, it makes the aircraft easier and less prone to fatigue cracking and corrosion.

Interesting aerodynamic feature of A350 XWB is the adaptive wing. It automatically adapts to a specific phase of the flight, reducing resistance and reducing thereby fuel consumption. Today Airbus delivered 49 aircrafts of the A350 family to 9 operators. For the end of November 2016, 43 companies have ordered 810 aircrafts of this type.

In conclusion there is a wish to mention that Russian engineers took part in creation of Airbus A350 aircraft and the construction of the aircraft involved Russian companies.

Experts of ECAR engineering center in Moscow conducted all project and strength calculations on the tail section of the fuselage, the cargo floor, modules for the installation of systems and interior décor. VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation is the main supplier of titanium for the production of chassis and engine pylons of A350.
